With this app, users can collect their household economy in one place including bank accounts, loans, pension and insurances. They can also track and get an overview of their income, costs and savings.

My Role

VISUAL DESIGN LEAD

I worked as visual design lead consultant for the bank app of Länsförsäkringar. I was mostly involved in the open banking project for bank and insurance customers. The project focused on how to bring value for the customers by letting them personalise the app and help them keep track of costs and savings.

I also worked with accessibility and component design systems and made sure design aligned with other platforms and brand guidelines. Before each release, I was responsible to make a design review to make sure the app was built according to design specifications. In addition, I supported the other four designers working with the app.

Customize the start page
User can choose what to display on the start page, whether it is Accounts, Cards, Latest Transactions or Insurances. The start page is built as modules which makes it possible to add or remove cards (modules) and even change the order of them.

Create your own page
User can create a page to get a financial overview and gather costs, insurances, saving goals, etc. The page can be related to a project like “kitchen renovation” or to something personal like the children.

Financial overview
We wanted to help the customers get a clear picture of their spendings and how much was left for the month. By showing the fixed cost in relation to other consumption user can easier see in what areas savings can be made. User can also see average and total spending over time in different categories.

Transaction categories
Each transaction is automatically tagged to a category. If user would like to change the category, it can easily be made. The app will also suggest the most likely categories.

Search transactions
Instead of scrolling through a long list to find a transaction, user can search for it. We made search suggestion buttons to quickly narrow down the search result.

Scan and pay
We improved the scanning functionality by letting the app scan the entire bill at once instead of having to scan field by field. The scanning is easily accessed by dragging down the screen.

Manage cards
User can increase safety of the card by blocking purchases in certain countries, or all countries except Sweden.
